DM Photography's staff works together as a team to make your special day as perfect as possible. DM Photography is a partnership which was formed in 1993 between two sisters, Diane Meek and Martha Bowles. Diane married her husband, John, June 11, 1983. They share their home in Kansas City, Kansas with their cats, Smokie and Shadow. Diane attends annual classes at the Kansas School of Professional Photographers and the Mid America Institute of Professional Photography. In addition, her photographs have been recognized at state competition. When not involved in photography, Diane enjoys participating in car related hobbies, both model and full sized cars, with her husband. Diane's interest in photography stems from her first camera at the age of 5. Since that time, she has had a camera with her wherever she goes. In addition to weddings, Diane photographs nature, family portraits and her cats. Martha married her husband, Ron, August 4, 1990. They reside in Lee's Summit, Missouri and spend their free time with their two sons, Chad and Matthew. Martha and Ron are heavily involved in Boy Scouts with Matt. Martha's love of weddings made forming the partnership with Diane inevitable. She too has been hooked on taking photographs since childhood. She graduated from UMKC in 1986 with a B.S. in Accounting, and in addition to her creativity, she adds her oraganizational skills and financial background to the team.
